Dec. 19: ‘3rd Tuesday’ dinner at Romeo’s Euro Cafe

RomeosEuroCafe121417Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’dinner – featuring new food paired with some servers’ favorite wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19.

The three-course dinners feature three new dishes from chef Romeo Taus’ (pictured) creative kitchen crew paired with three wines selected by the knowledgeable waitstaff:

  • Starter: Brown rice, black beans, peppadew peppers, hominy, onions, beets, and snow peas cooked in chicken broth, lightly breaded pan-fried pork cutlets, parsley-cilantro salad, Paired with 2015 Coppo Moncalvina Moscato d’Asti Piedmont, Italy.
  • Main: Smoked pork loin, roasted vegetables, green beans, cauliflower puree, house-pickled cucumbers, fig-pomegranate agrodolce. Paired with 2012 Castell De Raimat Tempranillo
    Costers del Segre, Spain.
  • Finale: Chocolate from Debbie. Paired with 2011 Cellar Pasanau Ceps Nous Priorat, Spain.
