Wingstock: Where chicken & music meet

Wingstock 2011, the annual festival billed as “Where Chicken and Music Meet,” will take place 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at Mesa Amphitheatre.

Restaurants providing wings will include Native New Yorker, Wing Stop, Hooters, Fat Willy’s, Cactus Moon, NY Boyz Subz & Wingz and Diamond’s Sports Grille.

Three bands will perform: Pete and the Shortcummings from KSLX, Sludge’s Build A Band from KDKB and Johnny Anonymous.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at door, which includes four wing coupons. There’s also a $20 advance ticket that includes 20 wing coupons.
