Four of the German beers, including its seasonal Maibock, will be on tap.

Taste all four for just $5. The class starts at 7 p.m. and is open to anyone 21 and over.

The Hungry Monk is hosting what might be the coolest beer event of the month: Stouts, Steaks & Pancakes next Thursday, May 24. It’s a fundraiser for the Beer for Brains Foundation.

It’s Fish Fry Friday, and there’s a newcomer today. Trophy’s Steakhouse in Queen Creek is holding its first all-you-can-eat fish fry. The price is $12 per person, which includes French fries, homemade coleslaw, and salad.

Trophy’s, which is using basa fish (also known as Vietnamese river cobbler) instead of the typical cod or haddock, says the fish fry may become a regular Friday offering.

Other East Valley places doing a fish fry today include First Round Draft ($9.99), Fat Willy’s ($9.99), and Iguana Macks ($11.99 from 4-10 p.m.). Also, Coach & Willie’s has its regular fish and chips entree on sale for $10.
