Feb. 15: ‘Taste of Romeo’s’ dinner at Romeo’s Euro Cafe

Romeo’s Euro Cafe in Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner, hosted by chef Romeo Taus and his wife, Janice, in a private dining room, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15.

The dinners typically feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu. This week’s selections:

  • Greka: Baked feta cheese with sautéed whole garlic, assorted olives, roasted red peppers, scallions, rosemary, and lemon peel with whole wheat pita chips.
  • Mandarin Dijon Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken, black olives, mandarin oranges, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, pecans, hearts of palm, and pineapple with honey Dijon dressing.
  • Milanesa: Lightly breaded pork cutlets with garlic-horseradish mashed potatoes, roasted pepper-garlic jardinière, and lemon wedges (pictured).
  • Ravioli Marco Polo: Cheese ravioli, meat sauce with Italian sausage, ricotta topped with mozzarella, and a touch of cinnamon.
  • Framboise & Chocolate: Red raspberry cheesecake and frozen chocolate soufflé.

Cost is $30 per person plus tax and tip. Add five wine tastes for $10. RSVP: 480-962-4224.
