May 21: Tombstone beer dinner at The Hungry Monk in Chandler

The Hungry Monk in Chandler will host a five-course Tombstone Brewing beer dinner at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21.

The menu by beer chef Gidi Goldberg, along with beer pairings:

  • Reception: Blistered bacon fat shishito peppers. Paired with Pilsner.
  • 1st course: Arizona salad with local pecans, local oranges, crumbled blue cheese, red onion, pork belly croutons, and IPA jalapeno-citrus vinaigrette. Paired with Gose.
  • 2nd course: Hickory-and-pecan-smoked chicken wings with Arizona sauce, carrot and celery slaw, and house-made blue cheese. Paired with IPA.
  • 3rd course: Deconstructed Sonoran dog with local sausage, Pork Shop jalapeno bacon, black bean salsa fresca, avocado, siracha-bacon aioli, and cotija cheese. Paired with Double IPA.
  • 4th course: Jalapeno bacon meatloaf poutine with stout mushroom gravy, Arizona cheese curds, and hand-cut fries. Paired with Imperial Stout.
  • 5th course: Tres Leches bread pudding with prickly pair caramel sauce and whipped cream. Paired with Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine.

Cost is $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Tickets must be purchased in advance online.
