The Hungry Monk celebrates 6th anniversary Saturday with food & drink deals

The Hungry Monk in Chandler celebrates its sixth anniversary Saturday with a slew of customer-appreciation specials.

The all-day deals include $2 sliders, $2 tacos, and $3 craft beer pints.

Owners Jim and Carol Lolli opened a franchise of Cincinnati-based Buffalo Wings & Rings on the northeast corner of Dobson and Chandler Boulevard in Chandler in 2008.

Two years later, they left the chain and rebranded the restaurant and craft beer bar as The Hungry Monk. (You can read the full backstory here.)

Starting when doors open at 11 a.m. Saturday, food and drink specials will include:

Distributors have donated prizes for a raffle that will raise money for Dignity Health Cancer Centers at Chandler Regional and Gilbert Mercy hospitals.
