Patrick Boll, who parted ways with El Chorro Lodge earlier this week, has been hired as executive chef at the Spotted Donkey Cantina II.
Owners Richard Hall and Cliff Skoglund opened the original Spotted Donkey at el Pedregal in far north Scottsdale in 2006. In 2007, they launched the ill-fated Luc’s at el Pedregal.
The Spotted Donkey II takes over the former El Paso Bar-B-Que building at Hayden and Via de Ventura in not-so-far north Scottsdale.
