An NFL lockout in 2011 would cost the Valley between $150 million and $160 million, according to the players union.
The NBA also is looking at the possibility of a lockout next fall.
Such a double whammy would potentially be devastating to Valley restaurants and sports bars, which already are dealing with a struggling economy.
