Citizen Public House, the long-awaited restaurant from former Cowboy Ciao chef Bernie Kantak, will have a soft opening Saturday and “officially” open on Sunday.
The dinner-only (for now) menu includes entrees named Fair Trade Coffee Charred Short Ribs, Brick Grilled Smart Chicken Breast and Tenderbelly Pork Tender Loin.
Kantak spent 11 years at Cowboy Ciao before leaving in April 2009 to open a multi-restaurant development in Phoenix that never materialized.
Citizen Public House is located one block west of Scottsdale Road at Fifth Avenue and Craftsman Court in Old Town Scottsdale.
