From his former restaurant, Michael at The Citadel, to his latest, Heirloom at DC Ranch in north Scottsdale, chef Michael DeMaria is known for his New American cuisine.
But when he’s looking for comfort food, he turns to Asian fare:
I love sushi. You’ll see me at Flo’s Chinese restaurant or Saigon Nights. It is not something that I’ve mastered, the art of Asian cooking. I don’t have any of those ingredients in my kitchen.
