In the wake of all the Valley barbecue fests, cupcake fests, taco fests and mac-and-cheese fests, it was almost inevitable that there would be a buffalo chicken wing event.
Thus, we have Wingstock 2011, to be held April 9 at the Mesa Amphitheatre.
Billed as “Where Music and Chicken Meat,” the six-hour event will combine the best wings from Valley restaurants with performances by a trio of local bands.
Tickets are $8 in advance ($10 at door) for four wing coupons, or $20 in advance for 20 coupons. Each coupon is good for one wing from a vendor your choice. Additional coupons will be sold at the event.
