Caffe Boa brings back ‘classics’

In the wake of chef Payton Curry’s departure, owners Jay and Christine Wisniewski have announced a number of immediate changes at Caffe Boa in Tempe (pictured) and Boa Bistro in Mesa.

While the restaurants continue to offer rustic, Italian-influenced, farm-to-table cooking, they also have brought back several pre-Curry menu items as part of a new “Classics” section on the menu.

Those items include several of Caffe Boa’s all-time most popular dishes, such as Shrimp Adriatico, Voodoo Penne, heirloom tomato bruschetta and Washington mussels.

A larger selection of pastas has been added, and a new lunch menu includes a soup, salad and pasta special for $9.95.
