After months of delays, Oregano’s Pizza Bistro finally opens its long-awaited Chandler location today on the northeast corner of Germann and Dobson.
The popular local chain already has restaurants in all the other major East Valley cities – Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa and Gilbert – as well as Phoenix, Tucson and Flagstaff.
Oregano’s almost signed a deal to open in downtown Chandler in 2008, before finally settling on the new location, which originally was scheduled to open last fall.
Other restaurants on the same corner include Uncle Bear’s Bar & Grill and two soon-to-open places, the third Rancho de Tia Rosa and Cork spinoff BLD.
The Chandler Oregano’s is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
