Mellow Mushroom, an Atlanta-based pizza chain, will open its second Valley location March 14 at Mill and Seventh Street in downtown Tempe.
Local franchisee Jay Beskind opened his first location in northwest Phoenix more than a year ago.
The 8,000-square-foot restaurant will seat 255 in the dining room and 28 on the patio. The dining room will feature nine large graffiti paintings, a 33-foot-long mural and 35 skateboards on the walls.
The pizzeria will stay open until 4 a.m. on weekends.
