Valley landmark Mary Coyle Ol’ Fashion Ice Cream and Yogurt will close – barring a last-minute sale – by the end of May.
Owner Bob Kelly says business has dropped off 30 to 40 percent at his 60-year-old central Phoenix business:
It’s the economy. The prices on everything have gone up. We’re at the bottom of the eighth.
If he can’t find someone willing to buy the business, which opened in 1951, Kelly says he will close it May 31.
