New Times broke the news two months ago about ShinBay‘s reopening at the Scottsdale Seville, but now AZ Central has some additional details.
When the much-anticipated contemporary Japanese lounge opens in April, it will seat 30. But chef-owner Shinji Kurita plans to allow only 15 customers at a time and serve a limited menu.
He hopes to gradually expand to full capacity by the fall and start offering omakase meals.
The original ShinBay in Ahwatukee closed five years ago.
