The Valley’s fledgling food truck scene had better look out: Jack is coming.
Jack in the Box, the latest fast-food chain to jump on the culinary trend, debuts its first food truck next week in San Diego, where the restaurant’s headquarters are located.
The 34-foot-long truck, dubbed “Jack’s Munchie Mobile,â€Â will make its debut in Los Angeles in next month. You can bet it’s only a matter of time before it road-trips to the Valley – perhaps for this summer’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game?
In-N-Out Burger has had mobile trailers for years, and Carl’s Jr. has a fleet nine “Star Diners,†which travel to concerts and other events.
