Coal Burger, a self-proclaimed “burgeria with a conscience” from the people behind Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, is the latest restaurant to open at Scottsdale Quarter.
The menu features grass-fed beef patties cooked in a coal-fired oven. A Classic Coal Burger with lettuce, pickles and special sauce on a brioche bun costs just $4.95. Specialty burgers range from $6.95-$7.95.
The menu also offers two chicken sandwiches, a veggie burger and several salads.
Gelato milkshakes ($5) are made with organic dairy and topped with toasted coconut whipped cream.
Other drink options include nine flavors of Boynton soda, eight craft beers by the bottle and nine wines by the glass.
The next Coal Burger is scheduled to open in Chandler.
