After a much-maligned debut last year as the Chandler BBQ Festival, the re-organized and re-christened Great American Barbecue & Beer Festival on Saturday was a huge success. The crowd was much larger than expected – and much larger than last year’s – so the lines were long, but the barbecue was plentiful, the beer was ice-cold and things ran relatively smoothly.
