Payton Curry unveils menu for tonight’s debut at Welcome Diner

Payton Curry, who starts a three-month gig at downtown Phoenix’s Welcome Diner tonight while he looks for a permanent space for his new restaurant, has unveiled his menu:

  • White truffle oil popcorn, $4
  • Fresh pulled mozzarella, oven-dried tomato, pesto, $12
  • Porcini foie gras terrine with brioche toast, $16
  • Berkshire pork country pâté, pickled veggies, mustard, $10
  • Burrata, white truffle, cracked pepper, $9
  • Niman Ranch grass-fed burger, potato bun, green garlic, foie butter, $10 (add cheese, $2)
  • Diver scallops, local roasted veggies, market price
  • All-beef hot dogs, $7
  • Lemon curd and blackberry jam, broiche toast, $5
  • Pie, $5
  • Chocolate malt & fries, $5

Curry will be serving at the nine-seat diner starting at 5 p.m. Sundays through Tuesdays and on First Fridays.
