Payton Curry, who starts a three-month gig at downtown Phoenix’s Welcome Diner tonight while he looks for a permanent space for his new restaurant, has unveiled his menu:
- White truffle oil popcorn, $4
- Fresh pulled mozzarella, oven-dried tomato, pesto, $12
- Porcini foie gras terrine with brioche toast, $16
- Berkshire pork country pâté, pickled veggies, mustard, $10
- Burrata, white truffle, cracked pepper, $9
- Niman Ranch grass-fed burger, potato bun, green garlic, foie butter, $10 (add cheese, $2)
- Diver scallops, local roasted veggies, market price
- All-beef hot dogs, $7
- Lemon curd and blackberry jam, broiche toast, $5
- Pie, $5
- Chocolate malt & fries, $5
Curry will be serving at the nine-seat diner starting at 5 p.m. Sundays through Tuesdays and on First Fridays.
