Mexican restaurant/bakery/market La Tolteca has introduced a new menu item and it’s big – literally.
The 5-Pound Torta is a massive sandwich whose components include eggs, chorizo (sausage), al pastor (marinated pork), carne asada (marinated beef), milanesa (breaded meat), lettuce, tomatoes, onions and guacamole.
The torta is $13.99. La Tolteca is celebrating its debut with a Torta-Eating Contest on April 14.
