This weekend at Cycle: Micah Olson & Phoenix Cheesesteak Co.

By Jess Harter Wednesday, April 6, 2011

Looks like Cycle, the much-publicized “pop-up restaurant” in downtown Phoenix, will be more of a “pop-up bar” for its second weekend incarnation. Instead of a guest chef, it will feature guest bartender Micah Olson, who will be making five $9 cocktails:

  • Japanese Cocktail: Brandy, almond syrup, Fee Brothers Old-Fashioned Bitters
  • Pendennis Club Cocktail: Plymouth gin, lime juice, apricot brandy, Peychaud’s Bitters
  • Big Brother: Maker’s Mark bourbon, Cynar, basil, passion fruit, lemon juice, Fee Brothers Old-Fashioned Bitters
  • Dixie’s Delight: El Tesoro reposado tequila, Aperol, strawberry, lime juice, orange flower water, club soda
  • North Shore Swizzle: Skyy pineapple vodka, Hum Botanical, pineapple, Velvet Falernum, lime juice

The Phoenix Cheesesteak Co. food truck will set up outside the Lexington.

Happy hour starts at 4 p.m. and dinner at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
