‘A Taste of Pork’ at Cork on Sunday

Looking to pig out? Cork in Chandler is doing a special four-course “A Taste of Pork” tasting menu from 4-9 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $35 per person, plus tax and tip. You can add three wine pairings for another $15.

The menu:

  • Optional starter: Toad in the Hole with hickory bacon brioche, truffle oil (add $8)
  • 1st course: Spicy posole with braised pork shoulder, hominy, cilantro, avocado, red onion & radish
  • 2nd course: Chilled Berkshire pork tenderloin, curried melon salad, grapes, mango, cashews
  • 3rd course (choice #1): Sprite-braised pork cheeks with butter-braised morels, fiddleheads, brie polenta, sweet lemon-lime demi
  • 3rd course (choice #2): Roasted scallop & pork belly with quail egg, spring vegetables, elephant garlic puree, hunter’s sauce
  • 3rd course (choice #3): Habañero mango BBQ braised ribs with grilled ramps slaw, boar bacon, fingerling potato salad, BBQ sauce
  • Dessert: Brown sugar cheesecake brittle  with toasted pecan crust, bourbon caramel & smoked bacon
