Great news for pie fans! The Rock Springs Café & Saloon, longtime destination of pie lovers from the Valley, will start selling its famous pastries at The Duce in downtown Phoenix next month.
Despite its remote location – about 30 miles north of Phoenix off I-17 – the Rock Springs Café annually sells about 50,000 of what it calls “world-famous pies worth the drive from anywhere.”
Pies come in more than 20 flavors, including Jack Daniels pecan, Tennessee lemon and apple bourbon. They will be delivered daily to The Duce.
The Duce, a 14,000-square-foot 1928 brick warehouse, will serve the pies at a new coffee-and-pie bar.
(Update: The Duce says it will begin selling pies Mother’s Day weekend, May 7-8. It’s now accepting Mother’s Day orders.)
