A master pizzaiolo from Italy is expected to determine today whether La Piazza Al Forno in Glendale deserves official certification from the Verace Pizza Napoletana.
Only 35 pizzerias in the United States have met the strict requirements that respect the tradition of the art of Neapolitan pizza-making.
Two other Arizona pizzerias have been certified: ‘Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana in Scottsdale and Vero Amore in Tucson.
