Soon-to-open Windsor unveils menu

Windsor, the much-anticipated Phoenix “neighborhood bar and restaurant” from Postino founder Craig DeMarco, has released its menu. Located on Central Avenue just north of Camelback, Windsor is scheduled to open Monday. Some of the menu highlights:

Appetizers

  • Double Dip: Cobb dip & posole salsa with house chips ($8)
  • Cheddar Fondue: Pulled pork, apple slices, caraway bread, Landjaeger sausage & MJ pretzel ($11)
  • Loaded Chips: Stacked chips with caramelized onion, bacon, blue cheese & chipotle sauce ($7)
  • Picnic Kebobs: Chicken, pork, shrimp, & mixed veggie with spicy pepper dip ($10)

Entrees

  • Grilled Schreiner’s Spicy Sausage or Tenderbelly Hot Dog: Spicy pepper relish, Farmer Joe’s chow chow, Dale’s Pale Ale mustard & caramelized onions on an MJ roll ($9)
  • Porkwich: Pulled pork, Tenderbelly braised ham & smoked bacon layered with gold sauce & crunchy coleslaw on a buttermilk bun ($12)
  • Crab Cake BLT: Jumbo lump crab cakes with Tenderbelly bacon, lettuce & tomato with a whole grain mustard remoulade ($15)
  • Banh Mi Halibut Sandwich: Grilled halibut with a honey-soy glaze, carrots, cucumber & cilantro with spicy sambal mayo ($13)
  • Brown Bag Chicken Sandwich: Pulled chicken with oven dried tomatoes, toasted hazelnuts and herbs topped with avocado, watercress & green goddess goat cheese ($10)

Desserts

  • Apple Pie Stack: House-made vanilla ice cream topped with warm cinnamon apples & toasted cheddar biscuits($6)
  • Warm Donut Dots: Just-made donuts with homemade strawberry jam & chocolate fudge ($6)
  • Sweet & Salty Tart: Milk chocolate tart with peanut & pretzel crust ($6)
