Denver-based Smashburger will open its sixth Valley location next to Harkins Theatre at Tempe Marketplace. The fast-casual burger restaurant, which takes over the former Stella’s Kitchen space, is scheduled to open May 25.
The first Arizona location opened near ASU in October 2009, followed by restaurants in Phoenix, Glendale, Avondale and another in Tempe. A total of 30 Valley locations are planned in the next six years.
