Valley’s latest BBQ restaurant: Hole-in-the-Wall at Squaw Peak

By Jess Harter Friday, April 22, 2011

With National BBQ Month just around the corner, the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort has converted its Hole-in-the-Wall – a 1940s ranch house that offered Western-themed fare like rattlesnake and chicken-fried elk – into a BBQ restaurant.

Taking advantage of a vintage outdoor smoker and barbecue pit, the new menu features smoked brisket ($19), smoked chicken ($17), baby back ribs ($25) and beef ribs ($25). Among the side options are mac ‘n’ cheese, mustard greens, jalapeño cole slaw and black-eyed peas.
