No announcements have been made, but MXSW has heard several whispers from inside New Times in the past 24 hours all saying the same thing:
Laura Hahnefeld will be the alt-weekly’s new restaurant critic.
Hahnefeld, a regular contributor to the paper’s Chow Bella food blog, would replace Michele Laudig, whose departure last month was first reported on this blog.
Hahnefeld has spent her career in retail as a creative director for PetSmart, Kohl’s and Sears. She began writing for Chow Bella last year.
Will an official announcement from New Times be forthcoming?
