India will be the focus of the Sunday night regional tasting menu in May at Cork in Chandler.
From 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays, diners get four courses for $35:
- 1st course: Mulligatawny soup with chicken breast, sweet potato, apple, wild mushrooms, cilantro, kaffir lime.
- 2nd course: Green papaya salad with mango, grilled ramps, salted peanuts, sweet chili vinaigrette.
- 3rd course (choose one): Chicken curry with chicken legs, jasmine rice, sweet pepper chutney; or grilled lamb T-bone with garam masala, black lentils, sweet onion, raita, grilled flatbread;Â or halibut pakora with chickpea curry, tikki ki chaat, red chili paste.
- Dessert: Kulfi rosewater frozen dessert with cardamom-candied cashews.
Note: Cork will be open for Mother’s Day brunch May 8 but closed for dinner that night.
