SanTan Brewing Co. in Chandler is teaming up with two California breweries for a special four-course beer dinner May 19 to raise money for Ear Candy, a local non-profit that provides kids with music education.
Besides SanTan ales, the dinner will feature beers from Mammoth Lakes’ Mammoth Brewing and San Francisco’s 21st Amendment Brewing that typically are not available in Arizona:
- Reception: SanTan Top Secret IPA & Mammoth Brewing’s IPA 395
- 1st course: Duck & white bean chili baked with a corn bread crust (SanTan Devil’s Ale & 21A Brew Free! or Die I.P.A.)
- 2nd course: Crispy Fritos-crusted catfish with hush puppies and cole slaw (SanTan SunSpot Gold & 21A Hell or High Watermelon)
- 3rd course: Braised chili & coffee-rubbed short rib with a stout pan jus over aged white cheddar potatoes with grilled asparagus (SanTan Epicenter Amber & 21A Back in Black I.P.A.)
- Dessert: Shoo fly pie (SanTan Gordo Stout & 21A Monks Blood)
