Attention, Hopheads! Celebrate National IPA Day on Thursday

Thursday is National IPA Day, and East Valley beer lovers have several options to celebrate.

Whole Foods Chandler at the Loop 101 and Ray is hosting with a five-hour party featuring 21 India Pale Ales on tap:

  • Dogfish 90 min.
  • Dogfish Burton Baton
  • Mudshark IPA
  • Sculpin IPA
  • Mission IPA
  • Mission Shipwrecked Double IPA
  • Double Jack Double IPA
  • Maui Big Swell IPA
  • Rumble Oak Aged IPA
  • Hebrew RIPA IPA
  • Full Sail Elevation Double IPA
  • Epic Hopulent IPA
  • Myrcenary Double IPA
  • Wipeout IPA
  • Decadent Double IPA
  • SanTan Hop Shock
  • Four Peaks Hop Knot
  • Papago Hopago
  • Gran Teton Lost Continent Double IPA
  • Rock Art Vermonster
  • Sonoran Victorian IPA

The event runs 4 to 9 p.m. at the tasting bar. Beers are $4.

Downtown Chandler’s SanTan Brewing Company is marking the occasion with five house-brewed IPAs:

  • Night of the Living Red, an Imperial Red Ale
  • Commodore Nelson, a Double IPA
  • Big Foot’s Baby, a Triple IPA
  • Negro Nitron, Arizona’s first nitrogenated Black IPA
  • Hopshock, its classic IPA

HopShock and Nitro Negro will be available all day at happy hour prices ($3.75 per pint).
