Cork ChandlerThink “barbecue” and “fine dining” are mutually exclusive? Cork just might change your mind.

The award-winning Chandler restaurant offers a special four-course regional tasting menu from 4 to 8 p.m. Sundays that changes every month. In September, it was French Provincial.

In honor of the Labor Day holiday weekend, however, Cork is doing a one-night-only “Taste of BBQ” menu this Sunday night:

  • First course: Summer corn bisque with cheddar and smoked bacon
  • Second course: House-smoked trout & salmon with fingerling potato salad
  • Third course: (choose one) BBQ blackened salmon with macaroni salad & habeñero melon relish; or St. Louis-style pulled BBQ pork shoulder with grill bread & coleslaw; or char-grilled hanger steak with polish sausage & baked beans
  • Fourth course: Berry pie with blueberry lavender ice cream

The price is $35 per person. You can add an order of beer-battered onion rings with a trio of dipping sauces for $6.

You also can add three beer pairings for $10, or three wine pairings for $15.

For reservations, call (480) 883-3773.
