Seasonal ale Count Hopula bares its fangs at SanTan Brewing

Count Hopula is back at SanTan Brewing Co. in downtown Chandler. The seasonal ale emerged from its crypt today.

Brewmaster Anthony Canecchia’s concoction – a “blood red” Imperial IPA – received rave reviews when it debuted last fall.

The spooky brew is described as having “intense Simcoe hop bitterness balanced with an eternal roasted malt.” It weighs it at 99 IBUs – hence its everlasting appeal to Hopheads – with 7.5% alcohol by volume.
