Bar en Gril, billed as a “please-all” neighborhood eatery, has opened in the former Native New Yorker space on the southwest corner of Val Vista and Elliot in Gilbert.
Owner Aaron Lopo, a Philadelphia native whose resume includes stints at P.F. Chang’s and Mastro’s, envisions Bar en Gril as an everyday restaurant for families as well as a weekend destination for sports fans.
Bar en Gril, which serves wings, sandwiches and pizza, is open for lunch and dinner daily. It currently does not have a website.
