With just three weeks until the 19th annual Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure, many East Valley restaurants are pitching in to help fight breast cancer.
The latest is Oregano’s Pizza Bistro, whose five East Valley locations are well-known for the irreverent t-shirts worn by servers.
Oregano’s is now selling special pink-ribbon t-shirts, tank tops and baby dolls with the phrase “Nice Haboobs.”
Prices start at $10, and proceeds go to Komen and the local affiliate of Young Survival Coalition.
The shirts are available through Oct. 31.
