SanTan Brewing Negro NitroIt’s Hopageddon 2011 at
Papago Brewing Company
today.

The event, which runs from noon until 2 a.m., features more than three dozen “hoppy” beers, including the debut of Valley newcomer Phoenix Ale Brewery‘s Camelback IPA.

This isn’t a typical beer festival with an admission ticket good for multiple samples. Papago simply has lined up as many hoppy beers as it could find for its 30 rotating taps today.

Some beers are available in limited quantities and may go quickly.

Among the selections (local breweries marked with asterisk):

  • Bear Republic Racer 5
