Today’s AZ Restaurant Week spotlight: House of Tricks

House of Tricks Tempe AZEach day during Arizona Restaurant Week (Sept. 17-25), MXSW looks at a special three-course dinner menu being offered by a participating East Valley restaurant.

Today: House of Tricks, the award-winning fine-dining restaurant in downtown Tempe.

First course (choose one):

  • Smoked sweet corn vichysoisse with gruyere buttermilk fondue
  • Arugula salad with manchego, crispy shallots & cascabel sherry vinaigrette
  • Grilled aspargus romesco with house chorizo

Second course (choose one):

  • Szechuan Swai with chili-soy broth, daikon & chili rings
  • Grilled hanger steak chimichurri, patatas bravas, cotija and haricot vert
  • Sherried oyster mushrooms & green peppercorn grits, saba & heirloom tomatoes

Third course (choose one):

  • Key lime pie with blueberry marshmallow fluff
  • White chocolate macademia nut cheesecake
  • Ice cream bowl

Cost is $30 per person.
