October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Chandler has introduced a new cocktail to raise money for organizations fighting the disease.
Dubbed The Stiletto, the $6 drink muddles Hendrick’s Gin with fresh blackberries, Monin and lime juice and is topped with a float of diet ginger ale. As Fleming’s first gin-based “skinny cocktail,” it has just 99 calories.
The Stiletto is part of the restaurant’s “5 for $6 ’til 7” happy hour menu. This month, 100 percent of the sales from The Stiletto will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.
Fleming’s also has added Cline Cellars’ Cashmere – a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah – to its $6 happy hour menu. Anyone who orders a glass will receive a free pink ribbon wine charm.
After 7 p.m., The Stiletto will cost $9.95 and a glass of Cline Cashmere will be $11.
