A number of East Valley restaurants – including Canteen Modern Tequila Bar, SanTan Brewing Company, Sandbar Chandler, El Palacio Cantina, Dos Gringos and Macayo’s – will be competing in the Arizona Taco Festival this Saturday at the Scottsdale Waterfront.
There also will be a chile pepper-eating contest and a margarita-making competition. The festival runs 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $10, and food samples are $2.
