Four Peaks to open 2nd Tempe brewery

By Jess Harter Wednesday, October 19, 2011

Four Peaks Brewing Tempe AZPerhaps the worst-kept secret in Arizona craft beer circles is finally out: Four Peaks Brewing will open a second brewery in Tempe next summer.

The new brewery will be located in an industrial park about a half-mile west of Mill Avenue and south of Broadway road.

The new site will have a taproom (aka a beer bar), but not a restaurant.

The new brewery is necessary because Four Peaks’s current site is rapidly approaching the state-mandated production limit of 40,000 barrels of beer per year.
