Kokopelli Winery & Bistro has upgraded its decor and menu in preparation for its 10th annual Kokopelli Krush in downtown Chandler this weekend.
Owner and winemaker Dennis Minchella has expanded the wine and craft beer list – and made it easy to browse with a custom iPad app.
Paintings by Chandler artist Kimberly Alexander will be on display in the dining room. New menu items include lavosh pizza, bruschetta boards and tapas.
Krush, which runs Friday through Sunday, features numerous activities (see schedule), but the showcase event is the grape-stomping competition (pictured).
Krush also will feature the one millionth wine bottle opening with a ceremony honoring Minchella’s parents, Don and Carol, who founded Kokopelli in 1993.
