Today is International Stout Day, a celebration of a beer style that goes back nearly 300 years. Several East Valley venues will be featuring a bunch of stouts and their predecessors, porters, today, including:
- The Watering Hole at Whole Foods Chandler: 17 imperial stouts, porters and winter seasonals on tap. (see list)
- Trophy’s Steakhouse: A half-dozen hard-to-find stouts on tap. (see list)
- Boulders on Broadway: 10 stouts on tap, plus Sonoran Brewing’s White Chocolate Ale to mix with them. (see list)
Taste of Tops and SanTan Brewing also will be offering some special stouts today, although details havent been released.
