• Romeo’s Euro Cafe is changing the dates for two of its next three “Taste of Romeo’s Euro Cafe” dinners, which usually are on Thursdays. This week’s dinner will be tonight; next week’s dinner will return to Thursday (Nov. 17); and the following week will be on Tuesday (Nov. 22).
The $25 dinners feature 5 smaller portions of regular menu items in a private dining room with owner/chef Romeo Taus and his wife. Tonight’s menu:Â Spicy Lamb Potatoes, Antipasto Salad, Asparagus Eggplant, Chicken Omega and Mocha Espresso Brownies.
• Gordon Biersch taps its latest seasonal ale, Winterbock, today in Tempe and Gilbert. The beer is a dark-colored strong lager with a caramel and toffee maltiness.
• Did you know Uncle Bear’s in Chandler, Mesa and Queen Creek offers half-price pizzas and $2.50 pints of beer all day on Tuesdays?
