Antars Sports Bistro has opened on downtown Tempe, taking over the second-story space at Mill Avenue and Seventh Street that formerly housed Bamboo Club.
As a result of the opening, Michael Antar, one of three brothers who own the business, says the 3-year-old Antars Sports Bistro in Glendale will close Friday.
Antar says the new Tempe space, which opened Wednesday, features a pair of 110-inch screens, as well as more than 50 50-inch TVs, to watch sports.
Michael’s brother David heads the kitchen. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and entrees ranging from pork chops to pot pies.
The bar offers two dozen beers on tap.
Antars is open at 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
