BoomBozz Pizza & Taphouse opens its doors at 3 p.m. today at Gilbert Town Square, taking over the former Boston’s Gourmet Pizza building on Gilbert Road south of Warner.
It will be BoomBozz’s fifth location; the other four are in Louisville, Ky.
The 7,000-square-foot Gilbert pizzeria hasn’t posted a menu on its website yet, but pizzas at other locations come in three sizes: individual ($6.99, plus $1.20 per topping), medium ($9.99, plus $1.59) and large ($11.99, plus $1.79)
In September, Food Network Magazine named BoomBozz’s Pollotate pizza – topped with chicken, red onions and roasted potatoes – one of the 50 best pizzas in the United States.
BoomBozz also offers calzomes, pastas and sandwiches. The menu will feature 23 craft beers, about half from Arizona.
