Updated: New Year’s Eve offerings at East Valley restaurants & bars

East Valley restaurants are beginning to publicize their New Year’s Eve celebrations. Many of these will sell out, so make your reservations soon. I’ll add to the list as more become available:

Caffe Boa (Ahwatukee): Dinner celebration will offer an assortment of options priced from $24 and up. There also will be party favors, decorations and live music all night. 480-893-3331.

Coach & Willie’s: A four-course dinner is $30 per person or $50 per couple. Live music by Paris James. No cover. Reservations taken up to 7 p.m. 480-776-6240.

Cork Chandler AZCork: Menu options for the first seating ($75 per person) include confit prime beef strip loin, duck roulade, Japanese mero with lobster gnocchi and more. In addition to dinner, a second seating ($95) includes a live band, dancing and a midnight toast. 480-883-3773.

Dave & Buster’s: Enjoy a three-course meal, unlimited video game play, a DJ & dancing from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Unlimited video game play not valid on ticketed, crane or specialty games. $60 per person. 480-281-8456.

The Deli: Restaurant will be open regular hours (11 a.m.-8 p.m.) and offer regular menu, along with three dinner specials and a prime rib special. 480-279-3546.

Down Under: A four-course dinner (entree choice of beef, chicken, seafood or veggie) with wine pairings and champagne. Music by String Theory and DJ Scully. Dinner reservations start at 8 p.m. and go until 10 p.m. Cost is $55 per person and includes a free cab ride home (within 5 miles). There’s also an early-bird version of dinner from 5-7 p.m. for $45 with no music or cab ride. 480-545-4900.

El Zocalo: DJ Adrain will be take you into the New Year mixing musica latina/cumbias, Top 40, Old School, Hip-Hop and R&B. There will be fireplaces and heaters on the patio. $20 per person, includes hors d’oevres, party favors and tequila toast at midnight. Doors open at 9 p.m. and tables are first-come, first-served. 480-722-0303.

Flanny’s: A special menu will be served until 10 p.m., with a limited menu until midnight. Music by The Drive from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. $10 cover includes champagne toast. 480-659-0870.

Handlebar: Get food, champagne toast, two drinks and free shuttle service home from midnight to 2 p.m. for $50 pre-paid or $60 at the door. Party runs 8 p.m.-midenight. 480-982-2091.

House of Brews: Drink & dinner specials, including $11.99 prime rib dinner. Music by Matt Wattay. Champagne toast. 480-792-1945.

Hungry Monk: Countdowns at 10 p.m. and midnight with a free champagne toast. Unique beers on all day. Regular menu plus prime rib, smoked baby back ribs and chicken pasta dinners after 4 p.m. No cover. 480-963-8000.

Irish Republic: Special menu items and DJ. $25 reserved seat includes two drink tickets, champagne toast and party pack from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. $10 cover after 8 p.m. without reservation. 480-812-1588.

Kai: Reservations for five- or nine-course tasting menus featuring truffles, foie gras, caviar and suckling pig will be accepted from 5-9 p.m. and cost for $140-$225. 602-225-0100.

Lucky Break: Prize giveaways, including a package of 2 Fiesta Bowl tickets with limo. There’ll also be DJ and drink specials. No cover.

Mark’s Cafe: Seatings will be at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. for a special three-course dinner menu with four entree choices ($34-$40, including beverage, tax and tip). Mark’s Café has a BYOB license, so customers can bring their favorite wine or beer. There’s no corking fee. 480-839-6455.

Ra Sushi (Tempe): A live DJ will spin the latest hits and there’ll be delicious New Year’s-themed food and drink specials ranging from $5 to $8 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. There will not be a cover charge. Other locations, including Ahwatukee and Mesa, will host New Year’s Eve Remix parties on Jan. 1. 480-303-9800.

Rawhide: $45-per-person package includes food buffet from 9-10:30 p.m., all-access town pass, live music, dancing, party favors, sparkling beverage toast and fireworks at midnight. $18 for kids 4-12. 480-502-5600 x1204.

San Marcos Resort: Dine on filet mignon, veal osso bucco or jumbo scallops and shrimp scampi at AJ’s Café. Dance to the classic jazz sounds of Laurie Fagen & Friends. Seatings start at 7, with packages that include dinner, champagne toast and party favors for $32. Special room rates are also available.

SanTan Brewing: Special menu will feature a 12-ounce smoked prime rib with green chili au jus and Maine lobster tacos. Other highlights include drink specials, a complimentary champagne toast at midnight and party favors. No coverage charge. Reservations accepted for dining before 7 p.m., after that it will be first come, first served. 480-917-8700.

Secreto: A select a la carte menu, featuring such entrees as a seafood combo or a chorizo-stuffed chicken breast, will be offered with seatings at 5:30, 6, 7:39 and 8 p.m. 480-706-2200.

Vintage 95: A prix fixe menu of 3 courses ($35 food only or $50 with wine pairings) or 5 courses ($55 or $80) will be offered from 5-11 p.m.

Vintage Bar: Two bars, two dance floors and two DJs. $10 pre-sale ticket waives cover and includes two well drinks and champagne toast. 480-927-9999.

Whole Foods Chandler: Kick off your celebration with made-to-order seafood dishes and a wine and beer pairing menu at the raw bar from 4-6:30 p.m. Draft beers are $4 at The Watering Hole.
