Since April Goff opened Designer Cakes by April at San Tan Village Marketplace a year ago, fans have been asking her to offer a cake-decorating class. Now they’ve gotten their wish.
From Jan. 12 to Feb. 2, Goff will teach a four-week course on how to fill, prep and decorate designer cakes (a few of her creations are pictured above). Classes – which will be watch-and-learn, not hands-on – will be held 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays.
Cost of the four-week course is $100, which includes written instructions, online access to video archives of the classes and a list of recommended cake-decorating tools. An option to add hands-on instruction with Goff will be available.
Class size is limited, so those interested are urged to make a reservation as soon as possible by emailing classes@designercakesbyapril.c
