Slickables Tempe AZSlickables, a new concept from former San Francisco residents Tina Chau and Sam Chang, has opened next to La Bocca in downtown Tempe.

The shop sells $2 ice cream sandwiches – “sandwiches that are lickable,” thus the name Slickables – made from a scoop of Dreyer’s ice cream between two fresh-baked cookies.

The cookies, baked by Chau, come in seven flavors so far: chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip. double chocolate chip, lemon white chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter candy and snickerdoodle.

Ice cream is available in 10 flavors.

Cookies and ice cream also are sold separately.
