Some people laughed when we wrote about Chick-fil-A’s $20 Valentine’s special for two last week, but others wanted more suggestions in that price range.
Let’s face it: We all can’t afford to spend $100 on a meal, even on Valentine’s Day.
With that in mind, I found four places where you should be able to squeeze in without a reservation today – and each will cost you less than $30 (not counting tax and tip):
- Yoli’s Cafe, a fabulous little eatery near downtown Chandler, is offering two breakfast or lunch entrees, two non-alcoholic drinks and a dessert for just $14.99.
- Tott’s Asian Diner, a fast-casual fave in south Tempe, is offering an appetizer, two entrees, two non-alcoholic drinks and a dessert for just $20.
- Casa Ramos, a new Mexican restaurant in Mesa, is offering two fajita plates (choice of chicken, steak or shrimp) with rice and beans, two house margaritas (non-alcoholic available), a churro and a sopapilla for $29.95.
- Flanny’s in Tempe is offering two salads, two entrees (choice of roasted chicken or shrimp pasta) and a dessert (choice of cheesecake chimis or chocolate chip cookie with ice cream) for $29.95.
